1992 Wolfgang Rothbauer started his musical career as a singer in his first Death Metal Band. In 1994 he started playing guitar and founded the Band Thirdmoon. After three international successful releases, a two week lasting tour, festivals and plenty of concerts all over Europe Wolfgang (all Guitars, vocals, and bass guitar) found his new band In Slumber and in June 2003, Johannes Jungreithmeier (Drummer of Thirdmoon) joined the Band. Their music style convinces with individual guitar compositions, catchy refrains, atmospheric acoustic parts and emotional connected vocals. "Stillborn Rebirth" is a concept album around the "Borderline-Syndrome". The psychological sickness of a sexual battered child, showing their feelings between hate, self-pity and depression. The provocative and open lyrics are meant to be a "Inner Monologue" between the victim and the offender. The charming point of "Stillborn Rebirth" floats between melancholy and aggression. In Slumber creats an elegant and emotional mixture of aggressive Death Metal, fast melodic Black Metal and groovy Dark Metal, creating atmosphere without using any Keyboards.
In Slumber releases with "Stillborn Rebirth" a real embracing Melodic-Death-Metal debut, with an amazing and powerful sound.
